Love, Laughter, and a Harley Ride Into Forever

What a day! Chelsea and Andy’s wedding at Marine Corps League was one for the books. From emotional first looks to Harley-Davidson grand entrances and a dance floor that didn’t stop until the lights came on, their wedding day had everything that makes me love being a wedding photographer.

Getting Ready & Hanging with the Guys

The day started with getting ready photos, and I got to hang out with the guys most of the morning. Since so many of them are in the military, we instantly bonded—swapping stories, laughing about shared experiences, and enjoying that easy camaraderie you only find with service members. It felt like I was right back with my old crew, which made the morning even more special.

A First Look at Perkins Pier

Chelsea and Andy chose to do their first look at Perkins Pier, and let me tell you—it was magic. The water, the soft breeze, and the anticipation on Andy’s face as he waited for Chelsea created such a perfect backdrop. Moments like this remind me why I love being behind the camera: those raw, unscripted reactions are priceless.

Ceremony Entrance: A Harley Twist

Now, let’s talk about the ceremony entrance—because Andy didn’t just walk down the aisle… he rode in on his Harley-Davidson. (I guess walking just wasn’t “badass” enough, right Andy? 😂) The rumble of that bike set the tone for a wedding that was equal parts heartfelt and unforgettable.

Reception: Laughter, Tears & One Epic Dance Floor

The reception at Marine Corps League 61554 was absolutely electric. From the cake cutting to the first dances, every tradition carried so much love and meaning. The father-daughter dance was especially moving—I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room (and yes, even I teared up behind the camera).

But when it came time to open the dance floor, the bridal party showed up in full force. They weren’t just helpful throughout the day—they brought the energy and made sure the night was one big celebration. And when the DJ played Ginuwine’s “Pony”… let’s just say the lap dancing started, and it became a highlight of the night. I was laughing so hard I could barely keep my camera steady. Definitely a core memory for everyone there.
