As we talked, I learned that both Jordan and Charley have proudly served in the Army. Jordan recently transitioned out of active duty and is now working in his MOS as a civilian, while Charley is currently stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas—a place that brought back so many memories for me because it’s where I was once stationed as well.

It was such a fun surprise to instantly have something in common. We spent time swapping stories about military life, different duty stations, and the unique experiences that come with serving.
